O’Donnellan & Joyce, which is fast becoming the leading independent auctioneer for disposing of properties by public auction in the country with the highest volume and a 95 per cent success rate in its last auction, which saw 27 of 29 properties sold, has just announced July 12 as its next auction date. The company is also planning a second auction in July due to unprecedented demand for its services.

O’Donnellan & Joyce placed 18 properties up for auction which were streamed live on the internet on Friday by local multimedia production company Solid Media in conjunction with the Galway Advertiser. The auction attracted more than 3,000 people who logged on from abroad as they watched enthralled by the live auction and the tremendous value on offer. According to auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan 18 properties were placed up for auction with 14 selling in the room and the remaining four under active negotiation, and the company is confident that all 18 will be sold, such is the tremendous interest in the auction.
